Man Struck Dead By SEPTA Train At Wallingford Station: Police

A Nether Providence Township man was killed after being struck by a SEPTA train at the Wallingford Station on Sunday, Jan. 19, police announced.

Emergency services responded to East Possum Hollow Road shortly after 12:30 p.m., where the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a release from Nether Providence Township Police.

The Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office and township police are investigating the circumstances of the death, though foul play is not suspected.
